About: This is a goregeous specias which is becoming increasingly popular. The flower cluster displays two different flowers. At the bottom are dark, purple-blue flowers. Above them are the fertile, light blue flowers. This broad leaved species creates a lovely color combination all by itself. Plant in groups of 12 or more for best show. All parts of plant are poisonous if ingested
Where: No soil suggestions.
Care: Divide mature clumps in autumn if area becomes overcrowded
Uses: gardens.
